Solar Water Heating
Heat Systems Ltd supplies and installs a range of high quality and high efficiency solar water heating systems. We offer a range of systems from a number of different suppliers for retrofit and new built applications. We supply and install a select range of high quality solar panels, which can be either fitted onto existing roofs or integrated into new roofs.
Solar water heating system collects heat from the sun and uses it to help heat your household water. It can provide hot water for baths, showers, sinks and other domestic needs. On average throughout the year up to 60% of the household's hot water requirement can be provided by solar energy. Balance is provided by traditional means usually via a gas boiler or emersion heaters in the cylinder.
A typical system consists of a solar panel mounted on the roof, an insulated hot water storage cylinder usually located in an airing cupboard, a pump to circulate the water and an electronic controller so that the system functions automatically.
A Solar Water Heating system can be fitted in about 2 days by our professional installers. You should not be without hot water for more than a few hours. Your existing cylinder will need to be replaced by a dual coil cylinder. Then the solar panel will be connected via new pipe work to the dual coil cylinder.
